To my fellow hand quilters...If you had the chose between a round and a square hoop which would you chose and why? I ask because I am getting ready to order one of Barrett's lap top hoops http://www.laptophoops.com/ and I can't decide if I want the round or the square.

hi lovely hoops! I have a large round quilting hoop but not a lap one. I think the bigger the better as less repositioning the hoop. I noticed a few videos on their site. are these any help in your decision? x
ReplyDeleteI've decided on the square one. I asked on several groups and in general the square one was prefered. I do have other hoops here at home that I could use (though not on a stand) if need be. And should I ever get rich I could always order a round one to go with the lap stand.
